Imagine about a dozen Silicon Valley technologists working in cramped quarters above a Chinese Restaurant with a vision of launching a revolutionary multicore processor chip into the embedded market. Although this start-up - originally named AsyncArray Devices -- had deep wells of microprocessor and software knowledge, it had nobody on staff to manage its marketing.

Chet Brown, CEO - Intellasys |
According to Brown, the Mindpik team was instrumental in putting IntellaSys on the map with timely consulting services encompassing market-driven product definition, white papers and branding as well as sales team building and training. "Thanks to Mindpik, IntellaSys became widely recognized as a fabless chip maker specializing in distributed digital media solutions via three major product brands: SEAforth™ multicore processors, Indigita© content secure connectivity devices and OnSpec™ secure storage controllers." In putting "Big M" marketing to work, Mindpik contrasts sharply with other consultants who typically serve in advisory roles leaving the heavy lifting to the client - even if the client lacks sufficient resources.

In addition to the IntellaSys logo, Mindpik created a set of unique graphics like this one representing the Sea of Processors chip. |
For IntellaSys, the most visible Mindpik deliverables can be seen in the branding of the start-up's platform and products as well as its corporate slogan, web site, brochures, sales training materials and extraordinary trade press exposure. "We had a ball working with Chet Brown who understood the power and effectiveness of outsourcing IntellaSys marketing to our experienced team," said Guzeman. "We're take great pride in the body of work we did for IntellaSys during our two-year association."

Mindpik even "designed" products to showcase the IntellaSys technology. This stereo receiver for the coffee table used speakers powered with IntellaSys wireless chips. |
