Promotional Literature

Mindpik Creates Promotional Literature that Works!
Let's face it... doing good looking, exciting promotional
literature is really hard to do. Of course, you can go to third
parties like ad agencies, but that's really expensive and they
really don't understand your technology. That means you have to
first train them on your technology and products and then
rewrite the heck out of everything they do to make it technically
correct. It can be very painful, especially paying your agency
while you train them
Mindpik already speaks your language
Fortunately Mindpik already speaks your language. We're technical --
more technical than any marketing group you've ever been involved
with. We've designed chips, boards, systems, and written tons of
software in a variety of languages. We really enjoy talking with your
technical folks and they seem to feel the same way. Getting promotional
literature done has never been so easy.
In the age of the web, do you still need printed literature?

That depends on your customer base. If you can sell directly to the end
customer over the web, then no... you don't need printed literature, but
you still need the written material so you can put it up on the web. But
for most companies in the business-to-business space, you'll need printed
material too. What the web has done is eliminate the need to spend large
sums on things like datasheets, but the promotional brochures still have
to be printed. Think of it this way... the more important your product is
to your customer... the bigger the part it plays in their system, the more
critically they're going to look at your company. As you become more and
more important to their success, the more critically they're going to look
at your company... your history, your quality, your customer base, your
financial backing, and so forth. That information is going to be passed
around the managers at your customer, and it's pretty hard to pass a website
url... people want to be able to highlight things, put sticky notes on it,
and used as the focal point as they discuss your company. Especially if
you have a sales force, printed promotional material is the oil that makes
the sales process work. Don't think you can ignore it and just rely on a
website to do the sales job.
