My goal was to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to put the bulk of any text in place, and edit with my pen, rather than mouse and cursor. I ended up with the smaller, non-tablet X61s after test driving a Toshiba tablet. I think I had problems with obscuring the pen menus because I'm a lefty and hook my hand over when I write. Dragon software transcription is almost magical to watch, but, as you point out, you have to be doubly careful to spot the inappropriate word hear and their.
